To illustrate the results of a new study the renowned journal Science has decided to use my image ‘human microbiome of a newborn’, which originally derives from a stool probe donated by my newborn daughter, back in 2017. At the time I was starting to prepare and analyze the development of her microbiome in depth, anticipating that it could reveal spectacular images just like this one… and it did!

So, at the age of 6, the picture brings her a publication in Science – congrats my dear Fritzi!
