Pollen grains are the carriers of the male genome in flowering plants. They may survive 500 years. They range in size from just slightly above invisibly small E. coli bacteria to the diameter of a dollar bill. They are transported by wind, insects, birds and mammals.
Of course they have developed fascinating forms and adaptive structures, to hit the target!
