Lecture at Congress Centre Loewenburg
At the annual conference of the IABES (International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers) - Micronaut spoke about butterfly eggs and their surprisingly diverse shapes and breathtaking surface structures.
After an extensive slideshow, the international audience took the chance to talk with the speaker and enjoyed the newest pieces of Micronaut FINE ART in parallel.
Butterfly Conservation in Belize, Central America
Butterflys, their caterpillars and pupae and even their tiny eggs belong to the most beautiful creatures on planet earth.
Nowadays, many loacal and tropical species are threatened or nearly extinct. Micronaut has therefore decided to donate his honorarium to a small non-profit organisation called Shipstern Nature Reserve in Belize. Shipstern was established in 1990 by the founders of the Papiliorama Foundation (Switzerland) and has successfully and consitently operated a conservation program for the endangered biodiversity in the poor country, over the last 17 years.
If you want to know more about the conservation program in Belize, please feel free to visit Shipstern Nature Reserve.
