'Scientific Photographer of the Year' - Ceremony took place in Bremen, Germany

Similar to Rosalind Franklin's x-rays, some of science's most powerful statements are not made in words...

For their excellent visualization of research, selected photographers of four categories, including microscopy, reportage, single image and innovation, were honoured by the jury, on 5th december 2009.

The award has an illustrous tradition and the annual celebration takes place in the classy ambiance of Bremen's 'House of Science'. In parallel, the winning images 2009 were presented to the press.
