White clover (Trifolium repens) pollen has a crude protein range of 25% and appears to be a floral source that supplies all the bees required breeding needs of pollen quantity and quality, including a good nectar supply. Cooperation with common pollinators is particularly important for an annual plant that requires plenty of properly fertilized seeds to re-establish every year, like white clover does.
